Sensing how irked Zivon was, Nathan gulped before muttering, “…Um… she just took the medicine so… m-maybe we need to wait a bit longer before we can understand what she’s saying…”

“Good evening, Young Master Burton. The medical team has recently made some dire discoveries, and we urgently need your help. Is it possible to come over right now?”

As it turned out, it wasn’t an illness at all, but a fatal poison that never had an antidote. Because of that, the scientists came to the conclusion that they would first need to replenish Ian’s blood by performing hemodialysis. Following that, they would introduce a powerful blood type into his system to combat the poison… and if everything went well, they would then introduce a new drug into his system to completely flush the poison out.

Alas, though the idea looked good on paper, they were having a hard time looking for a suitable blood type for this situation. That aside, they had yet to start testing the drug since they had yet to be given the green light to start proper testing… Either way, as all this was happening on Zivon’s end, Xavia remained unconscious…
