It took him a while, but Zivon eventually smirked as he replied, “What? Already that eager to gain my affection again…?”

Clenching her fists, she awkwardly replied, “I-I just didn’t get a proper look at the dress earlier since I had too much on my mind! A-anyway, I’ll go change into something else now-”

“No, it looks good on you. Now let’s go. Everyone’s waiting for you to start lunch,” interrupted Zivon, instantly prompting Xavia to feel guilty.

They had been waiting for her to start eating…? Had she known, she wouldn’t have taken such a long bath! Not wanting them to wait any longer, the embarrassed woman simply sighed before following him out… but to her shock, everyone had apparently been waiting for her right outside the room! How long had they been there? And had they overheard their entire conversation?!

With her awkwardness skyrocketing, Xavia meekly muttered, “…S-sorry for keeping all of you waiting…”

“Dear, there’s really no need to be so polite with us! I’m your mother, remember…? If there’s anything you need help with, just come straight to me… Also, I’ve already told Ian to gather as much information as he could regarding your past relationships so that should help jog your memory a bit,” said Yasmin in a gentle voice.

Recalling how useful Jenna’s data compilation had been, Xavia was quick to nod as she replied, “I’d appreciate that very much…”

Before she could say anything else, the kids ran up to her while saying, “Don’t worry, Mommy! We’ll be with you till you eventually remember everything! For starters, let me introduce myself! I’m Maison, your four-year-old son!”

“And I’m Yulia! Also four!”

Nodding in response, Xavia then took a big gulp of the soup before sighing in satisfaction…

“Sorry, it’s just… everything tastes so good…! I’ve been eating foraged vegetables for as long as I remember, and though I did get a chance to eat a wild hare once thanks to Cade, that only made my craving for meat even worse after that… You have no idea how heavenly this food feels to me right now…!”

When they heard that, everyone immediately looked down… After all, it was now more evident than ever that she had suffered greatly, and Yasmin had to avert her gaze just to avoid letting Xavia see her tears…
