...How very bold! Squinting slightly, Zivon was prompted to reply, ‘You’re saying you want to go after a married woman? Are you that morally corrupt?’

‘Look, I’m just saying that Xavia was under quite a bit of pressure when she decided to be with you. With that said, now that she’s free from any stress and obligations, she’ll be able to make her own choice much easier. Also, several women have tried gaining your affection even after you got married, so what’s wrong with me trying to gain hers? Mark and Stefan may have given up, but I think I deserve another shot.’

‘Anyway, if you don’t reply, I’ll take it that you’re fine with this. Don’t worry, if Xavia still chooses you in the end, then I swear that I’ll give up for good,’ concluded Keith.

After reading all that, Zivon simply sneered before putting his phone aside. Honestly, he didn’t see Keith as a threat at all. However, that didn’t mean that he was fine with how Xavia was currently treating that man. If she was going to continue being that friendly with Keith, then he would very much prefer only letting them meet after she had regained her memories!

Fast forward to that night, Xavia returned to the room to serve Zivon some water and peel him some fruits.

It took him a while, but Zivon eventually put his documents down as he said, “…You don’t need to do all that. Remember, you’re pregnant. Just sit by my side and let’s have a nice chat.”

Shaking her head, Xavia replied, “Do share what you’re attempting to talk about first. More adult things? Hmm?”

“…Am I truly that dirty to you?”

“No, you’re worse,” said Xavia, instantly wounding Zivon’s heart.

After clenching his fists for a while, he eventually replied, “…You’re just saying that because you’ve forgotten how we were in the past.”

“Then am I expected to know you inside out again?” said Xavia.

Though there was no reason for her to refuse to head back with him, she couldn’t help but feel rather awkward since she knew that she’d have to feel awkward by his side again soon… With that, she quickly nodded before running back to her bed and sliding under the sheets.

Her actions caused him to sigh. Just what was she thinking he was going to do to her…? And if he actually wanted to have his way with her, that blanket would be little to no hindrance! What a childish woman…

Regardless, Zivon was able to start walking on his own feet again when morning came. Because of that, he immediately went through the discharge formalities the second he woke up… and once he was done, he returned to the ward to bring Xavia over for her check-up.

Since she had been poisoned multiple times now, Zivon made sure to have the doctors perform extremely meticulous check-ups. He couldn’t risk anything happening to his wife or his new children! Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and Zivon even had an extremely pleasant surprise when he found out…

That Xavia was carrying twins! What’s more, they were of opposite genders like Maison and Yulia! He was going to be a father of four…!
