Bookshops are naturally quiet, and since it’s a Monday, there will be even fewer people around to accidentally hurt you. That aside, I’m hoping to get some books that will help with parenting. After all, this will technically be my first time properly parenting a child…”

This area was covered with orange décor, which made it feel much warmer and cozier compared to the other areas… There were even paintings of dancing silhouettes everywhere, and though they were beautiful, Xavia couldn’t help but feel self-conscious about her own curves… She had barely worked out recently, and she figured that it was probably time she picked up yoga once she got home.

Her train of thought was cut short when a waitress walked over to her and said, “Mrs. Burton, correct? Your husband told us to bring these desserts over, and if you ever want more, feel free to tell us.”

Looking at the tray that the woman was carrying, Xavia’s eyes nearly popped out of her head when she saw just how many exquisite desserts Zivon had ordered for her!

Gulping slightly, Xavia replied, “…Um… This is more than enough… Thank you…”

Gently pinching her cheek, Zivon replied, “Just how shallow do you think I am, hmm? Look, even if you become as large as a bear, I’ll still forever love you…”
