Being the efficient man that he was, Zivon took a few photos of Dolly’s injuries the very next day and got his lawyer to talk to Kevin. To the lawyer’s surprise, however, Kevin had apparently already prepared his own signed divorce papers!

“Make sure to tell her to never return,” scoffed Kevin.

Squinting a little, the lawyer replied, “…No matter what you think about Miss Jarlett, she’s still Mrs. Burton’s friend, so I suggest that you treat her with more respect.”

“Is there a point to that if I’m not going to continue meeting her anyway?” growled the icy man, prompting the lawyer to helplessly shake his head. What an unreasonable person…

Unbeknownst to the lawyer, however, the second he was out of sight, the hostile Kevin immediately dropped his façade and headed back to his seat to puff a cigarette…

Seeing that, his assistant quickly walked up to him and said, “…Are you really sure about this…? We both know you love her dearly…”

“Enough! Stop trying to read my mind!” growled Kevin as he glared daggers at his speechless assistant…

Moving back to Dolly, she couldn’t help but feel astonished when she realized that Zivon had taken care of everything in a single day!

“He… agreed that quickly…?”

“Alright. Feel free to cry or scream as much as you need, and I’ll bring you out later in the evening once you’ve cleared your mind… Sound good?”

“Yeah…” muttered Dolly as she got in bed and hid under the sheets…

Sighing subtly when she saw her like that, Xavia then quietly left the room…

It didn’t take long before she bumped into Zivon who had already made lunch for her… and upon spotting her, Zivon was quick to say, “There you are. Come have your food while it’s hot. Remember, you need to also be healthy if you want to care for others.”
