Naturally, Xavia felt much better now that she was aware of his thought process. With that, she was quick to nod… However, before she could return to Keith’s table, he pulled her close before warning, “A simple nod doesn’t mean anything. Go home. Now.”

“…Huh? But I haven’t eaten yet-”

“You can’t seriously tell me that the palace has no food for you. Look, if you return to that table or continue staying by his side, then you only have yourself to blame for what I’ll do to you once I’m done with all this,” warned Zivon, leaving Xavia slightly speechless…

Knowing better than to go against his orders, Xavia sighed before sneaking out of the restaurant… However, before she was able to hail a cab, her phone began ringing. It was a call from Dolly.

Naturally, she immediately hung up since she didn’t want Liam to find out that she wasn’t actually in a fight with her. However, Dolly kept calling… and after pursing her lips, the worried woman eventually answered the call.

“Hello…?”

“X-Xavia…! The Lockhart family has just officially gone bankrupt, and I just learned that Kevin has been hospitalized as well! Putting him aside, I bumped into his parents earlier and as I was walking away, I heard them declare that they were going to dig up Jenna’s grave!”

“…Huh? What does all this have to do with Jenna? Isn’t she dead…?” asked the confused Xavia.

Unbeknownst to Xavia, Jenna had arrived just in time to hear her say that! What was going on?

After taking a deep breath, Dolly replied, “So… Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart believe that Jenna is the root of their bankruptcy, and they kept saying that they could potentially break the curse by destroying her remains! I initially wanted to let Ian handle this, but I didn’t have his number, which was why I had to contact you!”

It took her a while, but Xavia eventually replied, “…Got it. I’ll handle this issue. Once I’m done, I’ll help you visit Kevin.”

Regardless, Xavia had thankfully inquired about Jenna’s grave before, so she knew the way. Sure, her sister may have committed all sorts of heinous crimes when she was alive, but desecrating the dead wasn’t exactly admirable either!

With that, the trio soon arrived at the grave site… and upon getting out of the car, they were greeted by the sight of Mrs. Lockhart standing before the cemetery, some flowers and a glass bottle in hand…

That sizzling liquid inside… Was that acid? Was this vile woman seriously trying to destroy Jenna’s grave?!

Just as Xavia was about to stop her, Jenna pulled her to the side before saying, “…Hold on. Let’s see what she has to say first…”

Jenna wanted to know just how ruthless this woman could be… and to nobody’s surprise, Mrs. Burton’s vileness was on a whole other level.
