…So that was the case! Thank God! Now Zivon wouldn’t have to put his health at risk anymore…! What’s more, there was probably even a chance to see him smiling again…! Overjoyed to the point of tears, Nathan then said, “…Please let her know that I truly appreciate her efforts…”

“I will… Don’t worry, Xavia will continue staying by his side. That aside, I’m sure you’re as exhausted as Young Master Burton is, so go on and get your well-deserved rest…”

Nodding in response, the grateful Nathan then sighed before leaving the building… Similar to Zivon, he had barely gotten any sleep lately, but unlike that man, he desperately needed his rest! Now that he knew that he didn’t need to worry about Zivon’s mental state anymore, he could finally rest in peace for a while…

Either way, once Nathan had left, Dolly quickly ran upstairs to tell Xavia everything that she had heard… and after she was done, Dolly sighed before adding, “…Even though he allowed you to stay, that could change if he gets put under immense pressure… To avoid that, make sure to always stick close to him. We need to nurse him back to proper health!”

Though Dolly’s revelation was shocking, Xavia honestly felt sadder than anything. After all, though she had figured that he’d have trouble eating and sleeping well, she never thought that he would keep himself functioning through the use of nutritional fluids throughout those few days… Had he been any weaker, then he would’ve surely died beside his mother’s grave by this point…

Taking a deep breath, she eventually replied, “…Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to take good care of him. Actually, I’ve decided! I’m making a nutritious meal for him tonight!”

“Just leave that to me. After all, you should be focusing on something else…”

Looking at the pajama-clad man who had just slipped into bed, the blushing woman was quick to reply, “O-of course, not! I had no problems with that at all, though… Um… Dolly… mentioned that to safely help you relieve stress, I should… ride on you…”

Chuckling in response, he then pulled the sheets off before carrying her in his arms as he teased, “Honestly, she makes a good point… Why don’t we give it a go…?”
