Unsure what to even think, the irked Zayne immediately banged on her door… and shortly after, Dolly was greeted by the sight of Zayne standing at her porch, a large bouquet of flowers in hand.

“I got your message, and I was told that you never truly liked him…! If that was the case, then why is he here with you now…?!”

Gulping slightly, Dolly replied, “…H-he drank lots of booze earlier, and his doctor told me to come pick him up… I was the only person available, so-”

Though stunned, the irked Dolly couldn’t help but retort, “…I’m glad you know me well enough to know my next step! Since you’re well aware of what I’m going to do, what are you still standing there for? Beat it!”

“You…!” growled the infuriated Zayne as he watched Dolly purse her lips.

Since she refused to say another word, Zayne eventually clenched his fists before growling, “…You know, I came over tonight to propose to you… I managed to persuade my mom to let me marry you, and I even took the effort to get a diamond ring and some flowers to make things right again… Alas, it seems that my efforts had been for nothing! I apologize for disturbing!”

“…Well, you have that issue as well…”

“…I won’t deny that. Fine, let’s make a deal. Let’s stop trying to lie to each other whenever we’re mad. Are we both in agreement?”

Smiling subtly in response, Dolly then ran up to him before hugging him tightly as she replied, “…Deal! I… I love you, Zayne…”

Though surprised by her sudden confession, he couldn’t help but hug her back as he replied, “…I love you too…”
