Thankfully, the manager was there this time instead of Zivon. Upon seeing ‘Jenna,’ the manager quickly got out of the car and opened the door for her while saying, “You’re early today! I had assumed that you’d only leave at midnight as you usually do!”

‘Jenna usually leaves at midnight?’ Xavia thought to herself as she immediately began racking her brains to find a good excuse.

To Xavia’s surprise, the manager then added, “…Oh. I completely forgot that you had to take care of Young Master Burton tonight! So that’s why you left so early! Yeah, I agree. Let’s head back immediately!” declared the manager as she got into the driver’s seat and began driving off, leaving Xavia speechless!

After all, actually leaving with the car wasn’t part of the plan! If she stayed for too long, then her plan would definitely be exposed…! What should she do?!

It took her a while, but Xavia eventually managed to calm herself down as she asked in a solemn tone, “…Have you done what I’ve told you to?”

Glancing at Jenna through the rearview mirror, the manager replied, “Not to worry, I’ve already struck a deal with President Perkins and he’s agreed to cooperate!”
