I took some pictures of her too. I plan on letting her sleep here for the night. That aside, where are you, Xavia? Have you returned to the hotel?’

Upon reading that, Xavia was reminded that now wasn’t the time to be feeling sad. She had to focus on avenging her grandmother…! Yulia was waiting for her too…! With that in mind, she wiped her tears off before quickly replying, ‘Change of plans. I’ve been pulled upstairs. I’ll update you on the situation later.’

With that message sent, Xavia turned her phone off before taking out a packet of sleeping powder from her purse…

She had it prepared just in case things had gone wrong with the manager but… Now that things had come to this, she could use them on Zivon instead…

It was about five minutes later when Xavia exited the restroom. The icy Zivon himself had been reading a magazine on the couch, looking picture perfect as always. Sadly, he was no longer the Young Master Burton who’d pamper her to no end…

She was brought back to reality when Zivon said in a rather dull tone, “Speaking of which, the newest jewelry collection seems quite decent. If you like it, I’ll tell Nathan to get it for you.”

…Though the way he spoke was nowhere as gentle as the tone he had used back when they were still together, the fact remained that he was showing a sweet side toward Jenna.

Clenching her fists as she tried to suppress her emotions, Xavia then forced a smile as she said, “…Let’s put that aside for now… Why don’t you have some porridge first…?”

Following that, Xavia placed the spoon of porridge close to Zivon’s mouth… and thankfully, Zivon simply played along. After eating it, however, it didn’t take long for him to start feeling dizzy… and shortly after, he collapsed on the couch!

When she saw that, she quickly grabbed his keys and ran out while giving Dolly a call. The second the call connected, Xavia immediately said, “Get Jenna to the elevator.”

“Got it.”

It was a short while later when both of them managed to sneak the drunk Jenna up. After placing her in Zivon’s room, Dolly was prompted to tap on Jenna’s phone before saying in a contented tone, “I initially planned to post her scandals at first, but I guess she’s lucky I’m not feeling up to it tonight. Though that doesn’t mean I’m letting her off the hook that easily…!”

Fast forward to the next morning, Zivon was awoken by the sound of an alarm clock…
