Luna’s hand was just about to grab the handles of Joshua’s wheelchair when she stopped a little.
After a moment, she immediately caught up to Joshua and grabbed the handles to his wheelchair, pushing him out.
“Joshua, I know you’re angry at me for going rogue a t the last minute, admitting that I am engaged to Michael, but…“
Luna sniffled and bit her lips. “I had no choice. The box that Aura gave me. Inside— “
Joshua smiled. He sounded rather self-deprecating. “
Am I right?“
Luna was completely stunned. After a while, she bit her lip. “How did you know…?“
“I made a guess.“
“Since you already knew, why did you— “
“Luna.“
Joshua took a deep breath. He stopped in his tracks and elegantly turned his wheelchair around.
He lifted his gaze and looked at Luna fixedly. He sneered a little. “Do you think that if you obey Aura’s demands, she won’t hurt Theo and Neil? Or do you think that if you discuss it with me, I won’t be able to protect Theo or Neil?“
Luna pursed her lips into a straight line upon Joshua’s words. She looked at him. Her mind was a little confused at that instant. After a while, she came to a realization.
Joshua was blaming her for not discussing it with him when she was threatened by Aura.
