She wiped away her tears and asked, “Is Gwen more important than me in your heart?”
Steven felt distressed and uneasy because of Kate‘s words and tears. All the things he wanted to say got stuck in his throat. Finally, he sighed and held Kate‘s hand. “Kate, I‘m sorry for making you worry about me.”
