Despite his desperate attempts to convince her to stay, she remains firm in her resolve. Her dream job meant everything to her, and she believed she couldn’t have both love and ambition. The heartbreaking exchange sets the emotional tone of the story. 

The music begins, returning to the present, where Aurora stands alone in her office, her sadness palpable. As she starts to sing, the video interweaves snippets of her past relationship–moments of happiness, laughter, and love. Despite the director’s efforts to persuade him, Parker remained resolute, adhering to his personal “no kissing” policy. Eventually, the director relented and removed the kiss from the script. 

When Aurora learned of this decision from her assistant, she was overjoyed. If Parker hadn’t objected, she had planned to decline the kiss scene herself. Aurora felt uncomfortable with the idea of such intimacy on screen, especially with Jeff, whom she regarded as an elder brother. The mere thought of it unsettled her. She was relieved and grateful that the matter was resolved. 

The director, confident in Jeff’s acting abilities, had no concerns about his performance. However, this was Aurora’s first attempt at acting, and he knew it would require additional guidance and encouragement to help her deliver a convincing portrayal.

Curious, Parker couldn’t help but ask, “Who were you thinking about?” 

In a quiet voice, Aurora replied, “My son…” 

Before the conversation could continue, the director called for Aurora and Jeff to take their positions. With Parker’s advice in mind, Aurora approached the shoot with newfound confidence. Her acting wasn’t flawless, but it carried an authenticity that worked well for the music video. 

Jeff made the experience enjoyable. Between takes, he cracked jokes and pulled funny faces, lightening the mood and helping Aurora feel at ease. Even when she struggled with emotional scenes and had to redo them multiple times, Jeff offered advice, and the director guided her patiently. Eventually, she delivered a performance that everyone was satisfied with.
