"Claire, you don't trust me?" Richard cornered me, his steps deliberate and menacing, while the bodyguards encircled to protect me, forming a human shield.

I cried out, "How can I trust you? I checked the security footage. No one entered my house, and you left with me that morning. So, it had to be you who sneakily placed that creepy doll on my bed. And now, with the lab blown up, you're trying to kill me. Richard, you were my only faith in this world, my pillar. Why did it have to be you?"

I felt like I was on the brink of suffocation.

Yet, he seemed so sure of himself. "These are all your suspicions, Claire. You have no proof."

"I have proof!" Suddenly, Ronald's voice came from behind me, and I knew I was safe.

Ronald and Max had arrived together, with Max quickly breaking through the circle of bodyguards to embrace me.

I saw Ronald handcuff Richard. Richard didn't even struggle but kept his gaze fixed on me.

Instead of responding to Ronald, Richard stared intensely at me. "You'll regret this. The Hilton family is no saint. All those girls who died were connected to the Hiltons. They should've never had children. The illegitimate offspring of the Hilton family are cursed!"
