Dunstan's tone sounded urgent as if something major had happened.

"What's going on?" Yolanda whispered as she covered the phone with her hand.

"The State Medical Board is here claiming that Willow Creek Clinic is illegally employing people without medical licenses. They're going to shut down the clinic!"

Yolanda frowned at those words. After hanging up, she rushed out of the classroom without even grabbing her backpack.

"Yolanda! The class bell just rang. Where are you going?" the class monitor called out as Yolanda hurriedly exited.

Ignoring her, Yolanda continued out the door.

"This is outrageous! She thinks just because she aced one exam, she can do whatever she wants?"

"Skipping class so brazenly shows she doesn't care about the school's rules at all!"

"Having someone like her in Class A is an insult to us!"

The students in Class A chattered among themselves, clearly unhappy with Yolanda.

"But she can't gloat for too long," a young lady sitting in the front row said. "I heard Yolanda made a bet with the academy's board of directors. She'll be kicked out soon."

"A bet? When did that happen?" the surrounding classmates asked curiously.

"She…" The young lady was about to speak when the physics teacher entered the room.
