Gavin stood exactly where they had parted earlier.

"I was waiting for you," he replied as if he had anticipated Yolanda would come out soon.

"It seems you really understand the Henderson family's expectations," Yolanda said teasingly. She felt a bit touched but tried to lighten the mood.

"I think I understand you better," he said with a gentle smile as he took her hand.

He knew the Henderson family would treat Yolanda harshly and that she wouldn't waste time on people she didn't care about.

Yolanda could sense Gavin's thoughts. He was always considerate and seemed to notice every emotional shift in her.

Surprisingly, she didn't mind his attentiveness, even though she typically preferred to be in control.

"Since you know me so well, guess what I want to do now," she said with a smile while looking up at his perfect profile.

"I'm sure you don't want to return to the Henderson residence."

Yolanda didn't respond; instead, she tightened her grip on his hand as confirmation.

"How about going to an outdoor cinema for a late-night movie?" Gavin suddenly stopped and asked seriously. "Ms. Henderson, it seems you still owe me a date. So, do I have a chance to invite you to a movie?"

"Of course."

"Nothing much. I wanted to invite you and Mr. Savage to lunch. I still haven't properly thanked you for what happened with the assassin!"

"Gavin should be busy today," she replied, recalling that he had mentioned he would be inspecting a project with senior executives. "You really don't need to go out of your way to thank us."

"No way! I must express your gratitude!" Zach insisted. "How about this—since you're free today, I'll treat you, and we can all get together later when Mr. Savage is available."

Worried that she might decline, he quickly added, "I can pick you up from First Academy at noon."

"I'm not going to the Art Festival today; you can find me at Willow Creek Clinic."
