A thought struck Yolanda. As Vic and Hunter talked, she approached Beatrice's bedside. She checked Beatrice's pulse and lifted her left eyelid. It was just as she suspected!

Jeremy's words visibly softened the room's tension. Vic's hostility faded. "Ms. Henderson, what did you find?"

"She's been poisoned."

"Obviously! We know that!" the doctor snapped.

"It's not just from the fake supplements. There's long-term poisoning here. Someone has been administering toxins that slowly infiltrate her system without immediate damage or detection. But when these toxins interact with specific catalysts, they become lethal.

"It would cause organ failure within 48 hours without leaving a trace. It's diabolically sophisticated."

"One hundred percent," Yolanda answered honestly.

"Nonsense!" Hunter erupted from the crowd. "This is a life we're talking about. You can't make such reckless claims!"
