The two proctors shared a knowing smile. When they looked back at Yolanda, contempt shone in their eyes.

How dare she challenge the academy's board of directors? It served her right to be thrown out of the academy for not knowing her place.

Yolanda was done with the exam paper 40 minutes later.

She submitted her paper with 50 minutes left on the clock till the end of the first subject's examination and walked out of the classroom.

"I told you, she's just writing gibberish." One of the proctors sealed the written exam paper in an envelope and walked out of the classroom. "I'll submit her exam paper to the academic office and bring the exam paper for the next subject in with me."

The other proctors nodded in acknowledgment and started their preparation to proctor for the next subject.

There were four subjects in the monthly exams, which were language arts, general studies, mathematics, and Westorian.

The end of the Westorian exam would also be the time school would end.

Yolanda submitted her papers ahead of time for every subject and it was no different for the last subject as well.

She grabbed her school bag and made her way out of the school building to find Gavin already waiting at the door. She quickened her pace and walked toward him.

Gavin and her shared a mutual understanding. They hadn't arranged for a meet-up time before this, but whenever she wanted to see him, he would appear.

Yolanda thought about it and agreed that he had never done that.
