Yolanda glanced over at the group around Winnie. There were four or five men and women. The women there were dressed fashionably.

Her attention immediately went to the slightly overweight man beside Winnie. He wore a suit, and his hair was heavily gelled. When he heard Winnie's call, he turned to look at Yolanda too. But his sleazy smile froze at Yolanda's appearance, his eyes filled with disgust.

"What's this? I thought your cousin would be a beauty too!" The overweight man pursed his lips in disappointment as he lifted his glass to Winnie again. "Come on, let's keep drinking!"

"Hold on, Mr. Edward!" Winnie pushed away his glass with a frown before squeezing out from the couch. "Yolanda, let me introduce my friends to you."

She gestured to the haughty-looking women on the couch as she spoke. "They're all my college friends, and they're now working in Cinnamine Pharmaceuticals' marketing team.

"This is Stella Stone, that's Jessica Palmer, and she's Kelly Grant. And this is my cousin Yolanda!"

"Winnie, how do you have such a plain-looking cousin?" The curly-haired woman named Stella Stone at the end of the couch made no effort to hide her disdain. "You're just embarrassing us by bringing her here!"

"Yeah, this isn't some hangout for country bumpkins!"

"Winnie, we invited Mr. Edward here for your sake. Why would you bring this eyesore to ruin everything?"

Yolanda's eyes turned cold when she heard their snarky remarks. She grabbed Winnie's arm and said, "I'm taking you home."

"You…" Winnie bit her lip. If getting into Cinnamine meant drinking and entertaining Edward, she would rather not join the company.

"So you're the facilities manager at Cinnamine?" Yolanda gave him a look.

Cinnamine Pharmaceuticals had strict hiring policies. While a facilities manager might have a say over his own department's hiring, he would not be able to influence other departments' hiring.

Besides, Winnie was not looking to work in facilities. For all their grandiose claims, Edward had no real influence over Winnie's interview or employment.
