Right now, over at HN Studio, the vibe flipped and got all tense because folks online started. causing a stir. 

“Mr. Lowe!” 

Kate got a hurried update from her assistant, saying, “Something’s off. People online are buzzing that all our new stuff is just knock–offs, and we’re getting slammed with refund requests… What’s our move?” 

Kate took a moment, her gaze calm and measured as she looked over the crowding reporters and said, “Got it.” 

But, just as she was about to make her move, she got mobbed by reporters and some of the crowd asked. “Mr. Lowe, the word online is that you’ve ripped off another designer, Warm’s sketches. What’s your side of the story?” 

“Look, Mr. Lowe, all ten are like Warm’s sketches. Isn’t it weird? I thought you said these were all your own work?” 

“Many people in the design world are eager to hear what you’ve got to say. How about it?” 

The press was all over Kate with their questions, giving her those ‘we–don’t–buy–it‘ looks. 

Some in the crowd watched with scepticism and anticipation, ready to see her squirm! 

And a few troubled folks in the audience yelled, “We don’t want knock–offs! Give us our money back! 

“And it’s not just about the money; we deserve an apology!” 

“Right! Fooling your customers like this? It’s just wrong. Who’d want to buy fakes? Makes to your stomach!”

The noise level started climbing, with some people getting riled up enough to try making a dash. for the stage. However, the security guards quickly blocked them, leaving them to stand there, fuming and demanding answers from Kate. 

Keeping her cool, Kate said slowly, “Who’s out there saying I ripped off Warm’s design draft? Since when has it been plagiarism to use my own work?” The crowd went quiet for a second. 

The reporters were shaken, and then they just stared at Kate, disbelief written all over their faces. 

One of them just had to ask, “Wait, what? Are you trying to say you’re actually Warm?” 

That question set everyone off! 

“Hold on, Kate is Warm? No way! Warm has been around for four years; folks in the design world

As the noise from downstairs reached her, Kate frowned. Glancing at her phone, she noticed her notifications had taken a nosedive. Digging deeper, she found out a hacker had claimed her design drafts as their own with a post on Twitter. 

Now, online was blaming Kate for ripping off Warm’s designs.

Kate’s demeanour chilled as she slipped her phone away, asserting calmly, “The truth’s going to come out. All these design drafts are my work, including Warm from four years ago. Sceptics can think what they want, but I’ll clear things up when it’s time.” 

“This wraps up our product launch for today. We’re taking refund requests, and, uh, these ten clothing items? They’re going to be rare–no restocks after refunds. The first bunch ships in two weeks. Are you here at HN? We won’t let our fans down.” 

With that, the security team got to work, herding the reporters and attendees out. 

Kate’s bold announcement definitely stirred up the online crowd.
