Alpha Theron’s POV

“Doctor Smith, as a doctor, how could you allow something like this?” Asha questioned the Doctor angrily. “Wasn’t it taught to you that werewolves have special blood? Even if they have the same blood type, we also need to make sure that both bloods are at the same level, or else the patient will die.”

I turned alarmed when I heard Asha’s words. “Are you trying to kill my daughter?!” I roared at the Doctor.

Seeing that I had turned angry, the Doctor instantly bowed his head to us in surrender. “Lady Asha, I am fully aware of this matter, but if Alpha Theron is really her father, then that makes him the best fit for a donor.”

Asha scoffed. “Best fit? Doctor Smith, have you become stupid?” Asha questioned back, making the Doctor shake his head in fear.

After all, Astrid and I are on the opposite side of the spectrum. If a drop of my blood got mixed into her blood, it could already be enough to kill her because of the difference we had in our wolves.

“Lady Asha, aside from Alpha Theron, there’s no one else who can provide blood for Astrid. Trust me, I’ve tried many methods to save her and avoid this matter, but blood transfusion is the only thing left that could save her.

If we don’t give her blood, Astrid will die. However, if Alpha Theron agrees to give his blood, there will be a fifty-fifty chance of her life,” Doctor Smith explained his plan, which I found reasonable.

Asha’s jaw tightened as she gave the Doctor a sharp gaze. Even her grip on my arm tightened a bit.

“If Astrid needs blood, she could take mine. We can’t let the Alpha shed his blood,” Andros suddenly stepped forward.

“Me too!” Asha responded. “You can also take my blood if you want.”

Doctor Smith stared at Asha and Andros back and forth with wide eyes. I only sighed at my children’s stubbornness.

“Didn’t you hear what he said? Astrid specifically needs my blood. There’s no need for you to get involved in this,” I pushed them back as I approached the Doctor.

“If you are Astrid’s father, then that makes her our sibling. Our blood could match,” Andros argued, refusing to let me off easily and give away my blood.

“Andros, your sister is in a special condition. We don’t even know if she’s going to live with my blood or not. So, how could I let you, her half-sibling, have your blood?” I questioned as I stared directly into his eyes.

Andros was left speechless and unable to answer my question. I know he just doesn’t sit well with the idea of letting me give up my blood.

As the Alpha of the Pack with thousands of members depending on me, weakening myself, even for a noble cause, will surely fill everyone with unease.

“Doctor Smith, lead the way and tell me what I should do,” I turned my back on them as I paid my attention to Doctor Smith to show my children that I had really made up my mind.
