Chapter 315: Posessed novel Reclaiming My Broken Luna (Astrid and Killian)

Astrid’s POV

I rushed to Killian’s side without a second thought, my only goal was to protect him. I can see he’s outnumbered, pinned down beneath two wolves.

My only thought is to protect him, to fight for him. But as I rip the wolf off of him, something changes.

The scent of blood hits me harder, sharper. My claws sink deeper into the flesh, and I can hear my wolf whispering in the back of my mind, ‘More. Give me more.’

I feel the weight of my wolf coiling inside me, urging me forward as I tear through another attacker.

My teeth sink into flesh, the taste of blood filling my mouth, and the rush of power surges through me.

I can feel her — my wolf — pushing me away, clawing at the surface, wanting more.

I should be horrified, but instead, a twisted satisfaction rises within me as I rip another throat open.

This… this feeling wasn’t coming from me. It was coming form the wolf who is fighting to push me back and gain full control over my body.

The scent of blood hits me harder, sharper. My claws sink deeper into the flesh, and I can hear my wolf whispering in the back of my mind. ‘More. Give me more.’

I shake my head, trying to focus, but it's like wading through quicksand.

With every kill, my body grows heavier, and the sound of my wolf’s hunger drowns out my own thoughts.

I feel her slipping into control, dragging me with her. “No. Stop!” I scream at myself, but it’s useless.

I watch in horror as my hands — no, her claws — rip through another wolf. The scent of blood is intoxicating, blurring the lines between reason and instinct.

My vision is slipping, clouding with red. I’m trying to hold on, clinging to the last shred of myself, but it’s fading, drowning beneath the bloodlust.

‘I’ll kill them,’ my wolf growls, her voice dark and intoxicating in my mind. ‘We must destroy them all.’

"No," I manage to whisper to myself.

My heart pounds in panic, but my body doesn’t listen. My wolf keeps going, slaughtering without hesitation.

I’m screaming inside, but I can’t move. I’m locked away, shoved into the back of my own mind.

‘Stop, please. This is my body. You have to stop!’ But all I hear is her snarls, her unrelenting need to kill.

And then she pauses, chasing her breath, our fur splattered with blood. She had successfully killed all of them, but her thirst for blood wasn’t still satisfied.

Slowly, she turned around, sensing life behind her.

And then I see him. Killian.

My heart seizes with terror, a wave of nausea twisting in my gut. The moment my wolf sets her sights on him, I know — she’s not seeing Killian.

She’s seeing prey.

I fight, clawing at the inside of my mind, desperate to regain control, but it’s like trying to hold back a storm. My thoughts are a whirlwind of panic.

‘No! Not him!’ I scream again, but my voice feels small, powerless.

My body moves without me. My claws extend, my lips pull back into a snarl, and I lunge.
