Chapter 659.

As a new day arrived, Aveline was awakened by birds chirping outside.

The warm sun rays poured down on the soft bed. Aveline rubbed her eyes. There were several colorful birds standing on the stone pillars on the balcony outside.

Some were opening their mouths, chirping, and some were combing their feathers. Reflecting the blue sky and white clouds in the distance, the whole world became very gentle.

Aveline rubbed her eyes and was in a trance for a few seconds before realizing that she had already arrived in another country.

The climate there was mild and humid all year round, and the vegetation was dense, unlike Alberta, which was dry and cold most of the time.

Aveline liked it there and got out of the big bed to wash up.

Every time she scrutinized the mansion, she always had the illusion that she was a princess living in a castle. The Sterling family was indeed extremely wealthy.

When she walked out of the room, she saw rows of smiling faces as soon as she opened the door, "Young Madam, good morning."

Aveline was obviously startled by the sudden greetings. When she looked around, she saw the servants cleaning the glass, cleaning the floor, and pruning flower branches. They were all the first to see her and they respectfully greeted her.

Usually, there was only Auntie Helen as the servant at home. Aveline was obviously not used to seeing so many people all of a sudden.

She looked embarrassed and replied, "Good morning."

Immediately, a servant who was obviously dressed differently approached her and said, "Young madam, breakfast is ready."

Aveline turned to look at her, "What about Old Mr. Sterling?"

"I can take you to see him if you want. Madam, just call me Rebecca."

Rebecca introduced herself, exuding the airs of a leader.

From everyone's mouth, Aveline learned that Old Mr. Sterling was quite nice to her in the past. After the old lady passed away, he also left Alberta. It was said that he was suffering from senile dementia, so he hadn't been heard from for the past few years.

Since she was in Cleveland now, Aveline felt that she should go and visit the old man.

"Young Madam, the master is here. I'll go back to work first."

"Okay, Rebecca, you can go back to work."

Aveline walked towards the depths of the small courtyard. It had to be said that the place was very suitable for retirement, and the environment was too beautiful.

Just as she was about to go in, someone suddenly appeared from behind the vegetation.

"It's you..."

A white-haired old man suddenly grabbed Aveline's hand and said, "You're Miss Brenda."

Although the old man was old, his relationship with the Sterling family could still be seen from his eyes and nose.

Aveline was confused. Who was Miss Brenda? Was it someone she had known before?
