Anyone who saw Sabrina would've felt sorry for her.

She was on the verge of tears. Her nose was red, and tears welled at the edges of her eyes but stubbornly refused to fall.

At that moment, she looked like a fragile doll.

Nelson reached out and tried to touch her cheek, but she stepped back. "Mr. Tucker, let's not waste each other's time anymore."

Sabrina didn't want to be in the same space as him. She has seen enough of his fake compassion.

She tossed the divorce papers on the table, picked up her phone, and walked out.

She shivered in the chilly wind outside the club. She realized she had left her coat and bag in the private room.

Her composure earlier was a facade. In truth, she was flustered and embarrassed.

She wondered why she was upset over a man who didn't care about her at all.

She stood in the harsh wind with tears pooling in her eyes, trying to get a taxi using a ride-hailing app.

At that moment, Gerald arrived at the club with a client for dinner.

As he got out of his car, he spotted Sabrina.

She was dressed thinly and lacked her usual calm and composed demeanor. She resembled a lost little girl.

He sighed and made a quick excuse to his client before walking toward her and removing his jacket.

When the warm jacket was draped over Sabrina's shoulders, she looked up in surprise.

Gerald smiled warmly. "It's negative seven degrees today. You're beautiful enough, there's no need to dress so lightly. Don't you feel cold?"

Her teary eyes curved into a smile at his joke.

"Put it on and head home. I can't accompany you today," he said.

She noticed two men waiting nearby.

"Thank you," Sabrina said.

"I have to go now," Gerald said.

Sabrina turned her head and watched Gerald walk toward the club while talking with the men beside him.

Since he was dressed so lightly, he looked quite thin.

Before he went upstairs, he turned back and winked at her.
