Edward would find it hard even to defeat Julian. If he had to go against an elite grandmaster like Lorenzo, trying to escape would probably be his only option.

"So, it's Mr. Hollister. Why didn't you tell us that you were coming to Phaedra Island? We would have shown you our hospitality." Edward and the others hastily bowed.

When faced with an expert of Lorenzo's level, they could not be sure of defeating him even if the three of them joined forces. They had no choice but to humble themselves.

Lorenzo laughed and said, "I don't like being given special treatment. What happened just now was due to my lack of discipline. I hope you won't hold it against me, Mr. York."

Bradley was inwardly displeased, but he had no choice. He said, "I lost my temper when I saw my son being humiliated and overreacted a little. Please forgive me for my inappropriate behavior."

"I can understand how you feel. However, it's supposed to be a battle to the death, so it should be fair. Otherwise, we might as well just have a brawl, and there would be no need for any kind of battle. Do you agree, everyone?" Lorenzo asked.

"Mr. Hollister, you didn't just come to Phaedra Island for fun, did you?" Edward asked warily.

Lorenzo smiled and said, "This is my son, Gideon Hollister. This is my precious daughter, Elsa Hollister. Come and say hello to the heads of the families."

"Hello Mr. York, Mr. Lynch, and Mr. Lennon." Gideon and Elsa came up to greet them. However, they stood ramrod straight and looked extremely arrogant. They clearly had no sense of respect at all.

The three heads of families were very displeased, but there was nothing that they could say.

Lorenzo continued, "My children are perfect in every way, except for the fact that they're a little too confident. In fact, one could say that they are a little arrogant.
