Sebastian thought for a while. Even if he asked Jeremiah to hand over Lana, the other man might ignore him.

However, if Cassandra was the one who looked for Jeremiah instead, he would panic, and would most probably return Lana.

Once Cassandra left, Sebastian continued refining pills.

The remaining herbs were pretty valuable, so the pills he made were of good quality.

Time seemed to stop when Sebastian looked at Lana. It seemed that everyone else in the world was gone apart from both of them.

Lana paused and teared up instinctively. At the next moment, she ran toward Sebastian as she called out, "Sebastian!"

Lana dove into Sebastian's arms and wailed loudly as her tears flowed freely. It seemed like she wanted to vent all her sadness and frustrations by crying.
