Inside one of the cottages, a man and a woman were lying on the bed. The man possessed an undeniable authority, while the woman possessed an almost otherworldly beauty. They were Sebastian and Fressia.

Sebastian was the first to wake up. He felt a splitting headache and then sat up with a blank face. As he looked around, nothing seemed familiar. When he noticed Fressia lying beside him, his confusion only grew.

Just then, an elderly woman entered the room. "You're awake."

"Ma'am, where am I? How did I end up here?" he asked, still dazed.

The elderly woman, Jenna, smiled warmly. "You're in my home. You two lovebirds passed out by the river, and I had someone bring you here."

"Lovebirds?" Sebastian turned to look at Fressia.

Jenna seemed surprised. "Aren't you a couple?"

He shook his head. "I don't know her."

"Huh? But when I found you, the two of you were hugging each other tightly," she said, puzzled.

Sebastian tried to recall his memories but couldn't. "I think I've lost my memories."

"Oh, that explains it." Jenna finally understood. She continued, "You were hugging each other so tightly that we couldn't even pull you apart. So, I thought you must be a couple.

"But don't worry, I had a local doctor check on you. You're okay, and your memory should return soon.

"Unfortunately, this young lady's condition isn't that good. Her injuries are severe, and she'll need a long time to recover."
