It was only ten o’clock, not exactly late into the night, but the villa was eerily silent, with no sign of anyone moving about. 

Though it appeared calm, danger lurked everywhere. 

Shadows of people lay in wait, ready to strike at any moment. 

Isabelle silently slipped into the villa. Soon after, the power got cut off, leaving the entire place in darkness. 

Only then did the hidden guards realise someone had broken in. 

Instantly, everyone sprang into action. 

The villa, which had seemed empty, was suddenly teeming with shadows. 

In the pitch–black villa, Isabelle’s dagger gleamed with a bloodthirsty glint. She slashed the throat of the first person who came to check the power. 

Blood spurted out, and the killing spree began. 

On the surface, this villa belonged to a private company owner. 

In reality, it was a den for Dark Shadow. 

Here lay the strongest branch of Dark Shadow. 

The guards inside the villa were all Dark Shadow assassins. 

This branch, previously managed by Mist Shadow and Flying Shadow, piqued Heart K’s interest. 

Following the deaths of Mist Shadow and Flying Shadow on the yacht, the organisation dispatched new leaders to assume control of the branch. 

It was exactly as Jim had said. Isabelle disabling Dark Shadow’s security system was just an appetiser. Now the real reckoning began.. 

The organisation evidently knew they had angered Isabelle and was prepared to wait for her to come to them. 

Silenced gunshots echoed through the dark villa, chasing the petite, phantom–like figure. 

The next moment, the figure vanished. 

The pursuer swapped magazines and walked quietly, alert for any movement. The sound of bullets being chambered was clear. 

Suddenly, he sensed something his eyes widening. 

The petite figure had appeared behind him. 

He spun around abruptly and raised his gun.

Then, she stepped over the bodies and walked out of the villa. 

As she descended the mountain, she took out her phone and began typing. 

At the foot of the mountain, the robot received her command. 

The trunk opened automatically, releasing several drones. 

The drones flew towards the villa, their lights flickering like fireflies as they navigated the mountainside. 

Isabelle looked up at the drones as they hovered above the villa. 

Soon, the drones circled above the villa. 

Isa’s round head moved. Its voice now deep and steady, contrasting with its childlike appearance. Isa said, “Target locked, drones ready. Commencing bomb drop.” 

The voice was unmistakably George’s. 

Then, the sound of explosions ripped through the air. One after another, the bomb exploded, as if intending to level the entire mountain. 

Half way up the mountain, the explosion’s flames lit up the entire hillside. 

The villa was reduced to rubble amidst the explosions. 

The commotion shook everyone in Taragon. 

Isabelle opened the car door and got in. 

George’s voice came through, “Isabelle, you’re back.” 

The murderous aura around Isabelle somewhat dissipated at the sound of George’s voice. She glanced at Isa in the passenger seat. 

Feeling playful, she commanded, “Call me Boss.”
