Stephen clenched his fists tightly. After a long while, he said to Ralph, “In the future, please help me fake care of Abby more, Chert, Dani, and ox will definitely cause her trouble again. She just wants to work hard and not be disturbed.”

“There must still be a way. Besides, I’ve visited the person who was hit, and he’s out of danger. I’ll try to find a lawyer to mediate and resolve this through compensation,” Ralph told him.

Abigail stood up, said nothing more, and turned to leave.

As Ralph was about to leave, Stephen called out to him. Through the glass, he said, “If you have time, look into what happened to Abby before. She was in the same situation as 1.”

He continued, “Although it may be too late to make amends now, this is the last thing I can do for you as a good friend.”

Ralph understood why Abigail sounded a little weird when he came to her just now. He chased after her but unexpectedly encountered Bianca and Daniella, who blocked Abigail’s path.

Abigail looked at her coldly and said indifferently, “What does he have to do with me?”

Bianca was angered by her attitude and snapped, “How can you say that? He’s your brother! He spoke up for you the night this happened. You’re so heartless!”

“Mom, focus on the matter,” Daniella pushed Bianca’s hand beside her.

Bianca suddenly remembered why the whole family was looking for Abigail and immediately said in a soft tone, “Abby, I heard you know Sebastian and have a good relationship with him. Can you ask Sebastian for help?”

“No,” Abigail said coldly.

Daniella said, “Abby, I know you hate the Gibson family, but you can save Stevie, so why won’t you?”

She continued, “Sebastian has great influence. He may never have told you, but I looked into it–he entered and exited prison freely, so he must have significant power backing him.”

Then, she immediately stepped forward, grabbed Abigail’s hand, and said with red eyes, “Please, Abby. Stevie is still young. If he goes to prison, his life I will be ruined.

“Please help him this time, okay? If you want to be the only Gibson family’s daughter, I’ll give the position to you.”

Bianca hadn’t expected Daniella to go this far for Stephen. In contrast, Abigail–who clearly could save Stephen from prison–had selfishly refused at

first.

Abigail angrily pushed Daniella away, but thinking of the video she had, she suddenly smiled. “I can help him.”

She had only wanted to appear considerate in front of Bianca and thought Abigail would never help Stephen, given her hatred for the family. But now Abigail had agreed so easily.
