Sophie nodded.

"Huh? Aren't you the Russell family's heiress? I always thought heiresses were like my sister, never lifting a finger."

Hearing her brother badmouth her in front of everyone, Sandy shot back, "Who says I can't cook? I can make chocolate!"

"Sure, sure, melting chocolate and pouring it into a mold counts as cooking."

Angelo and Sandy bickered like siblings do.

Gordon suddenly lost his appetite. He put down his fork and said, "Rick, pack up the dinner and bring it upstairs. It's too crowded down here; I can't eat comfortably."

"Yes, sir."

Adler was taken aback. "Wait, if you take the food, what are we supposed to eat?"

"Mr. Adler and Ms. Jenna, haven't you already had dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel? You probably aren't up for a second meal tonight."

Adler's face turned beet red as his date with Jenna was exposed. He jumped up and bolted upstairs like a kettle boiling over.

Jenna, acting nonchalant, whistled as she followed him up the stairs.

Sandy and Angelo were left baffled.

What's happening? Did they have a fight?

Seeing Gordon go upstairs, Sophie sighed.

Things were definitely not going smoothly.

Noticing Sophie's downcast expression, Colby asked, "Did you upset him?"

Sophie briefly recounted the day's events, finishing with, "To put it bluntly, it was almost like I had pooped right in front of him."

Sophie nodded in approval and said, "Mr. Odie, not bad, you seem to have the potential to be a bodyguard."

Odie, unimpressed, replied, "Save that comment for Colby; he's more suited to be a bodyguard than I am."

"Why?"

"Why all these questions?"

Odie frowned and said, "Are you leaving or not?"

"What about Jonah? Isn't he coming with you?"
