As Colby stepped through the door, he immediately noticed Sophie with a head wound, his brow furrowing in concern. Without missing a beat, Colby delivered a swift kick to Griffin's knee, sending him crashing to the ground.

Griffin, overwhelmed by the sudden pain, had no choice but to kneel for support. Colby grabbed a stun baton from one of his men, ready to strike, but Adler rushed forward in a panic, shouting, "We can't use that! It could kill him!"

Colby had already raised the baton high, clearly intending to land a serious blow. Yet, Adler's desperate plea made him pause. He handed the baton to Sophie, saying, "We've got him. Do what you need to."

Sophie took the baton without hesitation, walking behind Griffin and striking him hard. Blood quickly trickled down Griffin's forehead from the force of the blow.

Elodie, watching in horror, almost shouted, "Sophie! You promised me..."

"I did promise," Sophie replied coldly. "And I kept my word. You said as long as it didn't kill him, it was fine. I've been more than fair."

Sophie let the baton drop to the ground. Though Griffin remained conscious, he looked worse for wear.

Elodie stepped forward, saying, "Sophie, we've lost. I just want to take Griffin back to Harbor City. I promised you a condition, and I'll fulfill it."

"Let him go? No way. Griffin knows who's behind all this! He needs to spill the beans first, or we're not releasing anyone," Sophie retorted.

Adler turned to the kneeling Griffin and said, "If you don't tell us who it is, neither you nor Elodie are leaving here today."

"Even if you kill me, I can't tell you who it is," Griffin replied coolly. "I've never seen their face."

Jenna rolled her eyes. "That's incredibly vague. A man… there are countless men in Devonport!"

"That’s your problem," Griffin replied icily. "I only know it’s a man. I’ve never seen his face, and he used a voice changer. I can’t tell his age either."

"It seems like you don’t really want to leave, huh? With you being so uncooperative, even if Sophie wants to let you go, I won't…" Jenna began.

"Let him go," Sophie interrupted.

Jenna frowned, "Sophie, are you sure about this? Do you really want to let him go?"
