Sophie hugged Colby, saying, "Once I know Odie is safe, I'll find a way to extract Odie's location. Just wait for me not too far away, I promise you, nothing will happen to me."

Colby whispered, "I know I can't convince you otherwise, so I'll just have to make sure you're safe and not let you come to any harm."

He had always wanted to keep Sophie away from danger, to be the wings that protected her.

But Sophie always had her own plans, and he couldn't bear to see her in danger, nor could he refuse her.
