Chapter 652 I Don't Like My Aunt

Abbott was the one who felt the most uneasy. He held the hands of Sophia and Laura and said, "The two of you have the hardest time in this family. You always have to bear grievance for me and for that, I'm truly sorry."

Laura took his hand in hers and replied, "It's okay. Don't overthink it. We are fine."

Sophia nodded in agreement.

There was a noise at the door, and everyone immediately turned to look. Now, everyone was afraid that the old Mrs. Lawson would come over and cause trouble again.

But it turned out that the noise was from one of the servants. They all breathed a sigh of relief.

"Uncle, Aunt, Drake, please let me in. I have something important to tell you."

Laura and Abbott had already woken up and had someone check what was going on outside.

Sophia opened her eyes and met Drake's gaze. When she saw that he was awake, she said, "My good cousin is really persistent. She'll find any chance to look for you, and even I, her sister, can be ignored."

Drake reached out and playfully pinched her nose. "Looks like someone's jealous!"

"She's not worthy of that!"

Sophia retorted coldly.

"Hmm, but you look so cute when you're jealous!" Drake said and left a kiss on her forehead.

Bonnie suddenly pushed open the door and exclaimed, "Oh, I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything!"

Drake had a cold face, "William, are you mistaken? I haven't acknowledged her as my grandmother yet. I came here just to make sure you wouldn't have a chance to bully Sophia. You should be clear about that."
