The next day, the men from Undercity were very alert. Although they reached Goldwick as quickly as they could, they didn't immediately go looking for that person. Instead, they simply found a hotel and checked in.

Julian reckoned that the person they were looking for was close by as well, and they didn't contact them because they were used to years of being wary.

The living room was lit by yellow lights and it filled the space with warmth. From the quiet room, noises of someone using a computer keyboard could be heard, accompanied by an occasional coughing sound.

A bathrobe-clad Sasha was lazing on the couch as she tilted her head at Alvin, who was seated in front of the computer. "What happened? You look a little anxious."

Stopping the work in his hands, Alvin turned to her, his bright eyes carrying a shrewd look as he moved his lips and said, "Adam has sent another team over to bring us back."

The muscles on Sasha's face turned rigid and she held the cup in her hand tightly. The reason she came back this time was to snatch Colton back to her side. She wanted Nicole to completely disappear from this world. Sasha was already on the last step of her plan. She couldn't possibly go back now.

"Where is that team now?" she asked in a cold voice.

"They're already in Goldwick and staying in a hotel, but it doesn't look like they're going to contact us," Alvin answered seriously.

Seeing how determined she was, Alvin knew that he couldn't offer any words to change her mind. In the end, he chuckled helplessly before getting back to work on the computer. "So, what do you plan to do next?" he asked.

"Contact Evelyn. We can't show our faces in this matter anymore." Sasha narrowed her eyes and a sharp glimmer flashed across her gaze.

"Okay," he answered and immediately contacted Evelyn.

Not knowing how big this matter had blown up, Evelyn asked Sasha, "What's up? Did something happen?"

Without holding back, Sasha ordered directly, "Tomorrow, ask Nicole out alone. I want the child in her womb!"
