After the first confrontation, James could tell Thornber was stronger than him. Even though he had already used many Supernatural Powers to boost his strength, he was still weaker. Fortunately, the disparity in strength was not very wide.

Thornber, on the other hand, was startled. He was not expecting a cultivator from an outside plane to be so powerful despite only being at the Sovereign Sixth Rank.

Thornber’s voice echoed in the arena like rumbling thunder. Then, a golden light with magical inscriptions surrounded his body, allowing his aura to improve drastically.
