He intends to get the Ancient Four involved in the fray. Otherwise, he would have done away with the Emperor a long time ago. He wouldn’t have to wait for James to rise.”

The King then stood up and stretched. “Tonight will be an eventful night. Let us hope that James can kill the Emperor while he’s under the protection of the Johnstons.”
