“Aren’t I here now, well and healthy?” Lyla asked.

Lily reacted at those words and looked at her. “Oh, you’re right!”

Her concern had turned chaotic.

Lyla laughed. “Why aren’t you at work?”

“I’ll be discussing a case around 10:30 in the morning and happened to pass by, so I came to see you!” Lily said.

Lyla nodded.

Only now did Lily have the leisure to look around. “Are these your children?”

Lily rolled her eyes forcefully. In the past, Lily had tried the food Lyla brought to the company, which she said was made by Hansel. Now that she tried the soup, she was much calmer.

Afterward, she looked at Hansel and Gretel and could not help but sigh. “It’s amazing. It’s really amazing!”

However, she remembered what happened to Kathleen Turner, and now Lyla had children with Mark. It seemed like their positions had been switched.

Lily looked at Lyla. “Do you think Kathleen Turner would die from anger if she found out?”

Lyla rarely spoke to her so calmly and seriously. She must have a reason for saying so, so Lily nodded. “Okay, I understand. But you must understand that the truth can’t be hidden forever. She’ll find out sooner or later!”
