Lyla stood on the deck. She looked at Felix and then looked at the people on the boat not far away.

Hansel looked down toward the sea. He hoped that a miracle would happen. He hoped that Daddy could find Mommy, and they would appear above the water together. However, time passed, and there was still no trace of them.

“Daddy, daddy!” Hansel shouted. He was afraid that Mark would be like Lyla and desired death. He was so terrified that he did not care about anything else. His heart was filled with fear.

“Daddy —” However, no matter how much Hansel shouted, there was still no trace of Mark.

Piers and some others had also gone into the sea to search.

After searching for some time, someone spoke, “Could he be on that side?”

Hansel followed that person’s gaze. Hansel then saw a person lying on the ground as the waves hit him now and then.

Mark was stunned. He could not care less about other things, but only Lyla was someone that he cared about.

Mark then slowly lowered his gun that was aiming at Felix.

Mark said, “Are you satisfied with this ending now?”

“Felix, I won't kill you. I want you to forever live with guilt!” Mark looked at him and said.

After speaking, he turned away and left.

Hansel watched as Felix sat down on the ground, still devoid of any emotions.

After Lingo’s gang came, many people went into the water to search for Lyla. However, the four-hour search ended with no results at all.

Upon seeing that Mark was sitting by the shore, Hansel walked over.

“How is it? Has she been found?” Mark asked.

Hansel shook his head.

Mark buried his head in his hands.

He was previously such a high-spirited person, but he suddenly became this dispirited that it made people feel concerned about him.
