“Is that so? If someone wasn't deliberately withholding information, then why couldn't I find any news about it!” Eileen Dawson asked.

She had even asked the teachers from school. None of them knew her home address, even the men sent to follow her had lost her too...

She believed that this was no coincidence.

Eileen Dawson said nothing. Her eyes were fixed tight on him. Her answer was obvious.

“Someone from the underworld. Why, do you want to meddle with them too?” Mark Pattinson asked.

As expected, right after he said this Eileen Dawson was dumbfounded. Then she kept silent.

She was not that ambitious. All she wanted to do was to ensure Logan Pattinson’s place in the company, and not to create too many problems on the way. Even though she did not know what was up with the underworld, in her mind, it was a ruthless world. No amount of logic or reasoning would matter there.

When he saw that Eileen Dawson was silent, Mark Pattinson knew that she believed him.

This scared Hansel and Gretel to bits; they quickly called the doctor in. In the end, the doctor said that Lyla has lost too much blood, rendering her body too weak. That was why she passed back out, there were not many problems.

When they heard this, then only did Hansel and Gretel feel reassured.

If Lyla could not wake up, then she could not drink his soup. In the end, he gave it all to Lingo.

With her legs crossed, she sat on a sofa at the side, enjoying herself thoroughly. “Sweetie, did you really make this?”

Hansel nodded. “Yep!”

“You aren't afraid of getting fat?”

“Drinking soup won’t make you fat. Besides, I am born with grace and beauty, and gifted with a figure that will never grow fat no matter how much I eat. What is there to be afraid of?” Lingo cocked a brow as she mumbled lazily.
