Kate was worked up. She said, “Vere, you’re falsely accusing me! H–how could I possibly threaten you? Sir, they both work together to frame me. Look, here’s the evidence that they are both hackers. They are both hackers and classmates, while I’m just a good citizen. Besides, I’m not short of money, so why would I sell these things? They’re working together to hurl mud at me!”
