There was a dead silence for a few seconds. 

Yancey gazed at Anne’s face and said firmly, “I am the baby’s father.” 

His statement irritated Dante, and he punched Yancey in the face.

“How dare you say you are my daughter’s father? Where do you get the courage?” 

At the sight of the blood, Anne got angry. 

“Dante, why are you going crazy in my ward? Get out of here right now!” 

Yancey covered his nose bridge with his hands, his face showing pain. Meryl quickly took out a tissue and handed it to him. “Yancey, are you okay? Do you need a doctor?” 

He shook his head and blocked his nostrils with a tissue. “It’s just a minor injury.”

Yancey immediately said, “Don’t worry, Meryl. I’ll look after her, and the servants are on their way here.”
