I sulked and decided to ignore Colin no matter what he said. I crossed my arms before my chest and moped.

Colin rubbed his temples and sighed. Then, he coddled patiently, "She wants me, but I don't want her. Don't read too much into it now. The school still needs me, so I'll drive you back. You'll go out shopping with Queenie and choose another bracelet. Don't worry about the price. Just find something you like."

"No, I'm going to school too. I'm going to Crystal House," I turned my head and protested.
