“Hello, Aziz.”

“How did you find this place?” He scowled at her, his hand itched so severely that he had to restrain himself from slapping her hard.

“Is that the way to welcome the love of your life?” The hell… She had the effrontery to smile at him as if they were lovers who just had a misunderstanding.

“What the fuck are you doing here Lena?” He yelled at her, his knuckles turning white with the effort it took him to pounce on her.

“Don’t be like this baby, couples have their misunderstanding and they settle their differences quickly, why are you taking out time to forgive me, my love,” she tried to get closer to him and Aziz saw red.

He leapt at her, pinning her to the door by the throat. “Who the fuck is your love? How did you get in here in the first place?”

Lena smirked and before he could process her next action due to the rage blinding him, she pressed her lip to his and wrapped her arm around him. He was able to thrust her away from him, but the damage had been done, even as he raised his fist and let it crash against her cheek.

Lexi was donning the last piece of her make-up when the sound of yelling halted her actions, she stood up from where she was sitting in front of her dressing mirror and walked out of her room.

She could hear Aziz snapping and yelling at someone as she descend the stairs but she couldn't make out who it is until the sound of a vaguely familiar voice made her stop just three steps from getting down.

With a frown etched on her face, Lexi tried to place where she had heard the voice when Aziz lunge forward and pinned someone against the door. On getting a closer look, she realizes it is the same woman who came to her office yesterday.

The strange woman looked around as if searching for something, her expression turning grave the moment her gaze settled on Lexi. Before she could say jack, the stranger was already kissing Aziz.

He pushed her away and slapped her hard on the cheek, the imprint of his hand visible on the part where his hand had struck. The woman had a smug look on her face even as she rubbed her hand on her reddened cheek.

“So it is true? You are the bitch that tried to steal my man after all,” that smugness refused to leave her eyes as she stared at Lexi with disdain that almost knock her off her feet.

“Get the fuck out of my house Lena before I make you regret your entire existence,” Aziz snapped.

Lexi squinted her eyes at the woman who she now knows as Lena, Lena stepped away from Aziz and stalked towards her, her intention clear in her eyes.

‘He doesn’t want you, he only wants your body’ her mind warns.

Her gut twisted, knowing he was in love with Lena and even wanted to marry her while he insisted they shouldn’t fall in love with each other. This went on to cement her conclusion that he only wanted her for what she could offer and that is—SEX.

“How many other women should I be expecting at my office?” her face was completely void of emotion as she struggled to hold back her tears and not cry in front of her enemies. “How many other women will attack me for taking you away from them?”

“What are you saying babe, what women are you inquiring about?” Aziz was befuddled.

Did he think she would flare up, pound her fist against his chest and cry out her heart? Yes.

Was he expecting her to be calm and only want to know the number of girls he had been with before her? No.

“I don’t under-”

She cut him off, her gaze hardened as she stare at him intently. “I don’t care about what you do behind my back with those other women, what I do care about right now is that I want you to stay away from me.”

Aziz tried to reach for her but she stepped away from him and he growled lowly. “I told you to stay far away from me, so don’t you dare to touch me!” Lexi snapped at him and rushed up the stair to her room.
