After a three-day stay in the hospital and some checks that showed no issues, I stood at the hospital entrance, ready to hail a taxi to go home.

Before I could raise my hand, Ethan stopped me:

"What are you taking a taxi for?"

"The sun is so good, it's better to walk more and exercise, it's good for your health."

I nodded.

Then I hailed a taxi, Waving to Ethan, I instructed the driver to start.

"I'm going home to rest first."

"You and mom should take more walks and exercise!"

After a good sleep at home, Ethan and his mother returned, panting and huffing.

The mother-in-law stormed into the kitchen and soon came out with a bowl of bitter boiled vegetables.

"Ava, the New Year is coming, my waist is hurting badly, you hurry up and wipe the glass."

"You young people nowadays really enjoy life, even when we were pregnant, we still had to work in the fields!"

I agreed verbally.

The next day, to my mother-in-law's surprise, I called a professional home cleaning service, "Mom, they are professionals, they will definitely clean better than me."
