"Get out if you don't wish to die!"

Before he could step out of the room, he heard Trevor's low voice booming from behind him. "And get my secretary over here as you're leaving!"

"All right." The young man left.

Soon after, Jessica entered the room.

She felt a pair of bright, inky eyes on her as soon as she pushed the door open.

"Mr. Gulliford, is there anything you called me for?"

"What do you mean by sending that man here?" Trevor spoke bluntly. The dissatisfaction in his eyes was as clear as day.

"Was it not what you asked for?" Jessica tentatively asked. She was tempted to let out a giggle but decided against it.

"What did I ask for?" Trevor's face was dark, and he did not find the situation funny.

"Well, you asked for an 'important object' so you probably meant him..."

Trevor pushed Jessica against the wall as soon as she finished her sentence.

"You think he's important?" His voice was low, and his eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Isn't he?" Jessica questioned once more.

"Is he?" Trevor's presence was overwhelming, and a sense of pressure loomed over Jessica.
