It was a late-night, working in the bar last night, had worn me out, and I came in during the early hours of the morning, so I didn't appreciate the loud sound of a moving truck seeping in through my windows. I groaned and rolled around in my bed, trying to tune out the noise but it grew louder, snapping me out of my tired sleep. I growled and. sat up on my bed, then moved towards the window to find out what the hell is going on.

I opened my curtains and peeped out, it seems someone was moving into our apartment building.

I watched as the movers disappeared into the building with loads on their shoulders, the only apartment empty in the building was that next to mine. I guess am getting a new neighbor, I thought losing interest in the furry of activities going on below. I went back to bed to see if I could get more sleep.

Few hours into my sleep a hard knock on my door woke me up again. I rolled to my side trying to ignore the banging noise but it was not stopping, so I grudgingly stood up from the bed and headed to the door, with sleep-filled eyes, it more or less I was sleepwalking.

I opened the door, still trying to clear the sleep from my eyes, to be faced with a blued eyed blonde who was staring at me, mouth wide open, I followed her gaze to see I was in my underwear spotting a morning wood.

"Fuck!, I cursed, closing the door with a loud bang on her face. I threw my hands over my face in embarrassment, "what the hell!" I groaned before walking towards my room to put some pants on.

I opened the door again to see her leaning on the wall still waiting.

"Hi," am Julie your new neighbor, she replied in a very cheerful voice with a twinkle in her eyes, which I played ignorant to.

" Fantastic!" I murmured lowly, I just greeted my new neighbor with my junior, great going pal I mocked internally.

"I just move in and decided to meet my neighbors." Julie continued in her cheerful voice, not paying mind to my grumpy mood.

"Oh,  you are welcome, and am sorry for greeting you without clothes on, I was so tired from work and just woke up from sleep..." I tried to explain.

"I don't mind," she said with a smirk winking at me, "and am sorry for waking you up from sleep."

"Is alright, do you want to come in?" I asked stepping aside.

"No it's alright, I still have a lot of unpacking to do, maybe next time, bye," she said walking away.
