Fiona's eyebrows shot up in surprise as she turned to look at Lizetta.

"Liz has developed a taste for spicy food? That explains it. Remington usually doesn't fuss over the small stuff, but he specifically requested to add a few spicy dishes this time."

Their conversation flowed seamlessly, as if they had completely forgotten about the presence of another person. Stella, no matter how thick-skinned, couldn't stand being ignored any longer. He suddenly changed the subject. "Then explain to me, the night I went to pick you up, what was the purpose of you running outside to get caught in the rain?"
