Liz remembered Jerome's hospitalization due to a stomach issue, amidst the whirlwind of events these past days.

She had completely forgotten about it and didn't even know Jerome was still admitted.

And Remington was admitted to the same hospital near Maple Cottage today.

Horace assumed Liz was there for Jerome, and seeing the basket now firmly in his grasp, she felt too ashamed to admit her actual reason for being there, having neglected Jerome's situation entirely.

She smiled at Horace, inquiring warmly about Jerome's recovery, and decided to follow him to Jerome's room, embracing the misunderstanding.
