Lizzie had been a clerk in the executive suite, unlike Mr. Winters who had only been transferred this year, completely unfamiliar with Lizzie. Mrs. Clara, however, had met Lizzie before.

Lizzie wasn't surprised, offering a light smile, "This probably has nothing to do with our meeting today, Mrs. Clara. Here's our letter of intent. We're very sincere, and I believe you might want to take a look."

Seeing her reluctance to elaborate, Mrs. Clara didn't pry further, but she didn't take the letter of intent from Lizzie, just raising an eyebrow.

"Ms. Madden, I've already put Mr. Winters in charge of the annual gala, and from what I've heard, he seemed to have finalized a deal with Glory Media just yesterday."

Lizzie smiled too, "But, isn't Mr. Winters about to be suspended for an investigation?"

Mrs. Clara's eyebrow twitched.

The news of the heiress of the Madden Group making her return had caught her attention.

Lizzie leaving the Starlight Group, and now suddenly changing her last name to Madden, Mrs. Clara had already guessed her identity.

Lizzie looked at Mrs. Clara, blinked, and nodded.

"I have great faith in Starlight Group's efficiency. They definitely wouldn't ignore such a complaint."

Mrs. Clara, who had married and conceived later in life, now sported a slight baby bump. But as a career-driven woman, she wasn't about to let pregnancy slow her down.

Mr. Winters, of average ability, had been promoted during Mrs. Clara's maternity leave, through a connection with a shareholder of the Starlight Group.

Fifteen minutes later, Lizzie left Mrs. Clara's office, escorted out personally by her.

Their conversation had clearly been very pleasant, parting with a handshake. In Lizzie's hand was now a contract.

As for Glory Media...

Stella and Margaret, along with a few others, were waiting at the elevator entrance for Mr. Winters to arrive.

Stella didn't stop the crowd from following; a collective welcome seemed more formal, and besides, once Mr. Winters saw the scene, he wouldn't have much to question.

With the atmosphere set, sealing the contract would be a done deal.

With a chime, the elevator doors opened.
