Remington added, "And you know, doctors are always swamped. And with Yolanda aiming for the spotlight, jetting from one film set to another, she's no less busy. Two people that tied up, how's that gonna work?"

It kind of made sense.

Lizetta pondered, yet something felt off. She turned, eyeing Remington with suspicion.

"Why are you so bitter about Dr. Shawn?"

Remington wouldn't admit to it, his expression unflinching.

"I'm just laying out the facts. Didn't you ask for my opinion just now?"

Dr. Shawn clearly wasn't the right match for Yolanda.

Because, the moment Lizetta had stepped away, he managed to scare off the pretty boy.

Convinced by Remington, Lizetta turned back.

"I'll go check on Yoli."

Reaching the restroom door, Remington let go.

Lizetta hurried inside, with Remington finally breathing a sigh of relief.

However, Lizetta didn't find Yolanda in the restroom.

Not really a surprise, considering it had been almost half an hour since Yolanda had left, way beyond the time needed for a makeup touch-up.

Worried, Lizetta called Yolanda, but got no answer.

Emerging from the restroom, she found Remington leaning against the wall, idly scrolling through his phone.

Seeing her furrowed brows, he straightened up. "Couldn't find her? Don't worry, she's a grown woman, and we're in a reputable diner. She couldn't have just vanished into thin air."

Lizetta also felt that if Yolanda had to leave for some reason, she would have at least mentioned it.

The sudden disappearance and radio silence could only mean one thing... perhaps...

She ran into a mad dog?

"Could you check with Cassius?"

Lizetta urged, looking towards Remington.

Yoli was just about to go on a blind date, and now she's unreachable.
